Inspiration for the resort theme for Palm Lake Resort Beachmere Bay is taken from the classic location of the Hamptons.
The theme channels what was the Hamptons of the Great Gatsby, where garden parties took place on lazy hazy afternoons under washed out summer skies, with white deckchairs, iced teas and cool crisp grass.
Known for its relaxed elegance and luxury, this was the perfect theme to position Palm Lake Resort Beachmere Bay as a prestige offering in the market, commanding higher prices and elevating the perception of the resort to a level above its competitors.
The result is a theme and a story that transports you to the far off shores of the Hamptons where you can smell the salt on the breeze and hear the call of the gulls.
What we did
Naming
The location of the resort is not seaside like the Hamptons, it is instead bayside, found on the edge of Moreton Bay in the town of Beachmere. This lends itself to the beautiful name of Beachmere Bay.
When the name Beachmere Bay is uttered, it immediately rings with resonance. It is charming and sounds iconic, well known, classic. It feels like a place worth visiting.
The alliteration makes it memorable and the pairing of the words evoke quaint scenes of waterside walks, ice-cream, late lunches, sunshine and little luxuries. A bayside lifestyle that is refined and relaxed. Beachmere Bay brings you the ultimate in luxurious leisure.
Resort Vision
Beachmere Bay’s vision is to create an authentically crafted Hamptons themed resort, where the essence of the Hamptons is infused into every last fibre.
Every touch point will have a distinctly Hamptons feeling of classic laid back elegance from the entrance to the country club, the interiors of the homes, right down to the glassware at the bar.
A rich palette of architectural details is fused with soft furnishings and painted colour palettes to create a complete Hamptons experience.

Landscaping
Hamptons gardens are immaculately manicured, adding a well defined and regal air to any Hamptons home.
Lush lawns are framed by perfect hedges, dominated by simple colour palettes of green, white and purple, gravel and stone pathways and potted feature plants.

Country Club Vision
As opulent as a Gatsby party, the country club is the centre piece of the resort, exuding timeless coastal grandeur and Long Island architectural style.
New England and Georgian design elements of white timber, stone cladding, wall panelling and plantation shutters mix with French provincial and relaxed beach influences. Details are key to creating a rich texture throughout the club from wallpaper, wainscoting, framed prints, vases of flowers, lamps and coffee tables laden with decoration.

Final Country Club
Country Club Artist Impressions
A Hamptons country club requires an entrance of grandeur, with an oversize porte cochere creating a powerful statement. A mix of English manor and southern plantation home.
The pool area is the heart of a Gatsby inspired garden party. With crisp green lawn, shaded pergolas and timber deck chairs set against manicured and sculpted gardens.
Home Facades
A mix of different design elements blend together to create the classic coastal look of a Hamptons home.
A palette of white, pale grey and stone is complimented by charcoal and nautical blues. Weatherboard cladding is synonymous with the Hamptons and features heavy accents of detailed windows, frieze rails, lanterns, gables and arbours.

Home Facade Colours
The colour palette for the home exteriors lend themselves to the feeling of the Atlantic Hamptons climate.

Home Names
Each home design is romantically named after areas of the Hamptons.
A name badge was designed for every home, creating an air of luxury for the product as well as uniqueness for each design. These badges turn the homes into something more than a floorplan on paper. They are the embodiment of far away beachside climes infused with the iconic elegance and prestige of their namesakes.
Home Interior Design Vision
The Hamptons style epitomises laid back elegance. Light filled airy interior spaces overflow with detail and a mix of patterns and textures.
Striped pillows, palettes of fresh blue, white, taupe and cream, wainscoting and pitched ceilings blend together with echoes of a rustic farmhouse feeling made sophisticated. A subtle nautical feeling also weaves its way through the furniture, lighting and decor.

Final Display Homes
Our exceptional interior designer took the Hamptons theme and transformed the display homes into stunning examples of the Hamptons style. Each home had a distinctly different feeling through its decor and furnishings yet they were all unmistakably infused with the essence of the Hamptons.
Beachmere Bay Murals
Sin also designed three murals for Beachmere Bay that depicted Hamptons lifestyle and location. There was a day at the beach, Long Island Style, a Gatsby garden party complete with croquet and champagne tower, and nearly 120 metres of panoramic seascape celebrating the rich nautical history that so influenced the Hamptons look.
